Android 4.4 KitKat

After Apple released iOS 7 in September, its compatibility with older devices left Android users wondering would Google make an OS that would join all android devices again into a happy family. Today we have an answer, that Android 4.4 KitKat, the next generation of Google’s mobile and tablet operating system. The KitKat has been designed to work better on low-end phones, next-generation TVs and wearable devices. The new OS optimizes memory use in every major component and makes it easier to develop memory efficient applications for entry level devices right down to those with just 512MB of RAM. It is said that KitKat will support three new sensors – a step detector, a step counter and a geomagnetic rotation vector which by many guesses will be used in Smartwaches and Google Glass and in its analogs.

The only mystery left is the release date. The word mystery we use on purpose, firstly because its Halloween tonight and secondly many rumors throughout the internet points to tomorrow, the 1st of November 2013, being the date that Google is presenting new Nexus 5, and everyone believes that it will have Android 4.4 KitKat on-board. So by wishing you Happy Halloween, we also wish you a new faster Android OS. Don’t forget after renewing your device from inside, to renew it from outside too and enjoy all-new looks.
